I had a fantastic time on the retreat - everyone was lovely and we got to see a lot of Marrakech in a short period, including places that I wouldn't have found if I had gone there myself. It was helpful to have everything planned and arranged, including drivers and entrance to places like Bacha Coffee, Ben Youseff Medersa, Jardin Marjorelle and Le Jardin Secret (which had long queues to get in). It was a good mix of shopping, cultural activities and relaxing - the trip to Beldi Country Club for an afternoon of relaxation on the last day was necessary! Angela is well connected and it was interesting to meet other small business owners in Marrakech. Claire was a fabulous host, always focused on the guest's needs and how she could make our time more enjoyable. I loved hearing about the design of the Riad and the choices that had gone into making it such a beautiful space. Very excited to follow Angela's next venture. The reason I haven't rated it 5 stars is because it was marketed as an interiors focused retreat hosted by an interior designer and the reality was that it was much more fashion focused, I think in part due to the presence of an instagram fashion influencer who had been given a PR invite. Eg. we didn't do the table design, tadelakt plaster and zellige mosaic tile-making workshops that had been in the overview. I think a clearer picture of what the retreat is trying to be would be helpful and probably a slimmed down itinerary as the original itinerary was jam packed and we clearly didn't have time to do all of it. I love clothes shopping as well so it wasn't a huge issue but I would have liked to have done some of the other interiors activities. I also think the reality is that Angela lives in Marrakech and knows the area and local people so was really the one taking the lead on hosting the retreat rather than Claire. The interior design workshop run by Claire felt like a bit of an afterthought - it hadn't been prioritised. I was the youngest guest by about 15 years so I felt I was at a different stage of my life to some of the other women. Everyone was lovely and it didn't matter but if you would prefer to be with other similar aged guests then you may want to enquire about the other attendees/target demographic before purchasing.

It is hard to put into words how amazing this 4 day trip was. Everything was planned and executed to perfection for us all. From being greeted at the airport on arrival to 4 days packed full with pilates, wellness, activities, experiences, hospitality, workshops, shopping, entertainment... to the point we were transported back to the airport for our return home - everything was seamless and so much fun. We came for a Pilates break and left with so many more unexpected experiences and a real "local" flavour of Marrakech. Left with a bucketful of great memories :-)

Absolutely brilliant. Loved every minute. Great food, great Riad great host. Brilliant pilates teacher. An amazing time. Thank you.
